The award-wining debut from Georgia Cécile (Warner ADA) topped the UK jazz & blues charts and won ‘Best Album’ at the 2022 Scottish Jazz Awards. Described by Jamie Cullum as a “songwriting pair to watch out for” the ten songs are the fruits of a decade-long songwriting partnership between Cécile and her pianist Euan Stevenson

The album has a timeless, cinematic quality, fusing jazz and soul influences as diverse as Duke Ellington, Nancy Wilson and Stevie Wonder with a contemporary edge and deep poetic lyrics. With Cécile’s voice and storytelling as the focal point, the songs are lyrical reflections on themes of love, loss, nurture and spiritual growth.
